Dixi Dawn

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

With a deep sense of calm and precision, Dixi keeps Solomon Advising running smoothly behind the scenes. She brings to her role a rare blend of technical skill, thoughtful communication, and heartfelt dedication to supporting others.

Dixi’s background as a Medical Laboratory Scientist sharpened her attention to detail and taught her the value of compassionate service. Transitioning from healthcare to creative work, she retrained herself to become an Executive Assistant—committing long hours to learning new tools and approaches with remarkable adaptability.

Today, she supports daily operations at Solomon by managing schedules, taking meeting notes, coordinating with clients, helping with recruitment efforts, and keeping internal workflows running seamlessly. Her favorite part of the job is knowing that her quiet presence makes a real difference.

Outside of work, Dixi finds beauty in stillness: reading, capturing photos of the moon, soaking up sunshine, and savoring quiet nights under the stars. She’s proud of the resilience that has brought her here and looks forward to continuing to grow, both personally and professionally.

  • Most Prized Possession

My most-prized possession isn’t something that can be quantified; it’s the meaningful conversations, wisdom, and stories my father shared with me. They guide me through life’s challenges and keep his spirit alive in my heart. I pass them on to my brother and cousins, hoping to inspire and help them navigate their own journeys, just as he did for me.

  • Ideal Travel destination

    Greece and China

I want to walk the land where Greek mythology was born, to climb its temples, bury my toes in its beaches, and watch the stars that the ancient people had seen. I am excited to see China. I want to dress up in a hanfu and have my photos professionally taken in historic landscapes that have inspired the Chinese poets of old.

  • Broken Bone or Scar

While filming a documentary about an indigenous craft, I was taking a photo of a traditional bolo knife when my young cousin, just a kindergartener, reached out to grab it. I quickly took it from her to prevent an accident, but in the process, the blade slipped and cut deep into my right pinky finger, severing the tendon. To this day, I can’t fully bend that finger. It’s a lasting reminder that even in the act of protecting others, unexpected sacrifices can leave a mark—both physically and emotionally.

  • Favorite Movie

The Lord of the Rings Trilogy

It is hands down my favorite. The female elves were ethereal, the male elves? Absolutely stunning—I’m a sucker for beautiful characters, I won’t lie. But beyond the aesthetics, what really captivates me is the sheer artistry behind the scenes. I often find myself rewatching the behind-the-scenes footage, just in awe of the creativity, craftsmanship, and dedication poured into every frame.

  • Favorite Book

    The Basket of Flowers

It was the first book that made me cry.

  • Secret Talent

Apparently, my voice has two secret powers: putting people to sleep or turning them into talk show guests. I'm basically a human chamomile tea with a built-in interview mic.

  • Go-To Comfort Food

    Kimchi-jjigae.

It is a full, savory, sour, and spicy stew that warms my heart.
